Remembering John

John was at the tail-end of his time in the Digital Library when I joined, so most of my times with him have been social, particularly as he stayed in our Christmas night out group ever since. You always got a really involved chat and a good laugh with John; being so clued up on music, football and films there was never a shortage of ground to cover. I also know how helpful and sympathetic he was from a work perspective, and how badly he'll be missed from all over the University, not least because everyone knew him. Just stunned that we've lost him. Scott
