Remembering John

So very sad to hear of John’s passing. I remember meeting him on my very first day at the uni teaching me the delights of EdLan and IDM. When we more recently moved to supervising the Helplines together, that’s when I got to know John more personally. He was kind, patient, quick witted and absolutely always had my back. For that I will always be grateful. Even after moving away from the helplines I was still in touch with John regularly and he was always up for a chat. The office will be a different place without you John, rest easy pal x
